Human Being

With a soft smile and a sight of relief,
Not out of breath, i just needed to breath
Its amazing how a little light can fill those empty spaces
the warmth and clarity that comes with inner calm and self medication
From new angles the ceiling seems much higher,
and with a little more momentum,
just might brake through to the clouds
will take it all in, with minds that think much wider
and give thanks for all the ones who stuck around
Between alot of soul search ing and switch in scenery
you learn It seems lies are more concrete
then what is not quite the truth or whats procieved honesty
we've seen too much of both and finally im braking free
Lost love and hard ships, battle wounds and scars,
split in faith and belief.
Try to stay decent in deceit
But now i sense a shift, turn my curses into my gifts
With a soft smile, and a sigh of relief
Finally finally like im feeling like a human being

Reflections

(Verse)
Strip it down to anxiety and patience
Brake the ground and find a firm place to put your stakes in
muscle, skin peel it back straight to bone
become familiar what what holds you on your own
(Chorus)
Never better then the source of my reflection
Trading smiles and know for certain where it came from
Well aware that i exist when i turn away
its more then a reflection could say
Ooooo Ooooo Yeah Yeah
Ooooo Ooooo Yeah Yeah
(Verse)
Strip it down, i myself am just the basics
nothing more then a pile of human casings
theres nothing that can hide your faults for long
Switch your focus find those faults a home
(Chorus)
Never better then the source of my reflection
Trading smiles and know for certain where it came from
Well aware that i exist when i turn away
its more then a reflection could say
Ooooo Ooooo yeah yeah
Ooooo Ooooo Yeah yeah
(Verse)
Big and bold swells the skull but theres no room
looking at your yourself in an image your consumed
Nothing but a stunning portrait locked in frame
securely fastened with nothing more to gain
(Chorus)
Never better then the source of my reflection
Trading smiles and know for certain where it came from
Well aware that i exist when i turn away
its more then a reflection could say
